Matt Jones, who joined Cattaneo Corporate Finance in March 2018, has had a fantastic month with the birth of baby Leo and a top prize in the Corporate Finance exams.
The month started well when Matt, who has been studying for the Corporate Finance Diploma which is awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), found out that he had won the President’s Award for his outstanding results in the Corporate Finance Techniques & Theory paper he had taken in December 2018. Matt will receive his award from the CISI Branch President for the Midlands, Mark Rogers, at the CISI Annual dinner on the 6 June in Birmingham.
April only got better for Matt when at 3:12 am on the 24 April he became a father when his partner Chloe gave birth to their first child, baby Leo weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz, at Russell’s Hall Hospital. Matt is slowly settling into parenting life and balancing work with changing nappies and a lack of sleep.
