OUR APPROACH
Our team works closely with clients over an extended period of time either in the formal position as a non-executive director or, informally, as a retained corporate finance adviser. Such a relationship allows us to gain an in-depth understanding of our clients’ business and the management’s and shareholder’s existing objectives and developing new objectives and growth plans.
This allows us to provide advice on:
Alternatively, some clients value the opportunity to merely use us as a “sounding board” or someone who can challenge the status quo.
In addition, we can bring our experience to bear to advise on specific projects such as facilitating board level strategic development; succession planning; or consideration of strategic options such as trade sale, MBO or stock market flotation.
Strategic planning may involve considering investment in organic growth versus an acquisition led growth strategy or a refinancing to aid a recapitalisation.
If specialist advice is required, for example tax and legal advice on a group reorganisation or shareholder wealth planning, then we have access to suitably experienced advisers with whom we have worked successfully before.
We are used to “thinking outside the box”, challenging ideas and proposing ways forward. With more than 100 years of combined experience gained from a variety of roles working in industry, private equity, capital markets and M&A we can leverage our knowledge to assist clients in developing their strategy and then executing their plans.
