Cattaneo Corporate Finance has advised Look Fabulous Forever, the fast growing beauty brand and award-winning business, on the acquisition of Creative Cosmetics.
Creative Cosmetics, based in Ipswich, is one of the UK’s leading contract manufacturers, incorporating design, production, filling and assembly, of cosmetic and skin care products with a client list that boasts high street stores and specialist retailers. The deal provides the opportunity for shareholders Alan Major and Paul Pepper, who have managed the business for the last 36 years, to retire while securing the long term future of their business.
Look Fabulous Forever, led by Anna Cusden and Suzy Stern, is a London-based e-commerce beauty brand which has established itself as a disruptive force within the cosmetics industry. The acquisition presents Creative Cosmetics with a significant opportunity for growth whilst securing a critical source of supply of cosmetic products for Look Fabulous Forever and allowing it to offer its customers a UK manufacturing solution in an industry that has become increasingly dominated by European players.
The Cattaneo team of Scott Peters and Jordan Phillips structured and negotiated the acquisition as well as sourcing and negotiating a funding package from Barclays in support of the transaction.
