Martyn has specialised in corporate finance for more than 25 years with experience gained working in both London and Birmingham, having been a partner in RSM Robson Rhodes and Grant Thornton for 10 years. He has also undertaken a secondment to a City based private equity firm where he led transactions as principal.
Martyn has advised on a wide range of transactions including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs and buy-ins as well as City Code transactions. His clients have included private and public companies as well as those operating in the public sector. He has advised on more than 100 completed transactions across a range of sectors including manufacturing & engineering, property & construction, support services, telecoms, software, education, leisure, printing & packaging and retail.
Martyn is a graduate of the University of Leeds, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and also holds the ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification.
