James works with Cattaneo to strengthen its origination capabilities across the Midlands, building relationships with business owners, non-executive directors and senior executives while supporting the firm’s long-term growth strategy through bespoke technology and market intelligence.
With over ten years’ experience in executive search and origination across the M&A advisory and private equity markets, James has worked alongside many of the UK’s leading investment banks and private equity firms, helping to build and scale origination functions and connect investors with high-quality opportunities. Throughout his career he has partnered with firms including ECI Partners, CBPE, Oakley Capital, BGF, YFM Equity Partners and Puma Growth Partners.
His extensive understanding of how origination functions operate across different investment strategies, combined with a strong network of board-level executives and non-executive directors throughout the private equity landscape, enables him to help Cattaneo develop meaningful relationships across the regional business community and continue enhancing its market-leading origination infrastructure.
